Syed Donates to Charity!!!!

Todays Blackburn Citizen is reporting that prospective Blackburn Rovers buyer, Ashan Ali Syed has donated 40k to the NightSafe charity, based on Jubilee Street in Blackburn

Nightsafe has 4 projects over Blackburn and the Darwen, with its Chief Executive, Paula Kaniuk, thrilled and gracious for the significant contribution.

How this affects Mr Syed and his bid is unknown, but after some negative PR he has recieved, this will enlighten many!

Sounds like a little "hello I am still here" moment... but a good one none the less!!!

On top of his 125k donation to the cathedral choir he's got to be closing in surely? He's donating 165k and has spent 250k for his exclusivity period...then more money on extending it. You wouldnt spend that money if you didn't think you were here to stay.

heard he's going to fund the full redevelopment of blackburn, give it 10 years and blackburn will look like Florence. :P
