Jonesy and Fielding in Under 21's squad

Blackburn duo Frank Fielding and Phil Jones have both been named in the England Under-21 squad to face Romania in October.

The young England boys face a two-legged European U21 Championship play-off against Romania.

The winners of that knockout will then progress to the main finals in Denmark next summer.

Stuart Pearce's boys will be at home for the first leg of their play-off at the rather irritatingly bright Carrow Road a week on Friday before travelling to Botosani the following week for the return leg.

A Fielding clean sheet and a Jones bullet header will do nicely.

Good work by both... Jones could even find another promotion coming his way if he does well for the next few months!
