Diouf - I am back to my best

Rovers in form winger El Hadji Diouf has spoken of his relief at having a fresh start this season after having an indifferent start to life at Rovers.

Diouf was very hit and miss during his opening year and a half in East Lancashire but this season has started like a wilder beast on fire and with a point to prove.

The reason behind this upturn in fortunes has been explained by Diouf who had the misfortune of a baby miscarriage last year with his wife and an assault charge hanging over him from back in Senegal.

El Hadji Diouf spoke to the Sun and said - 'I feel good, more positive. This year you will see the best of me.'

More of the same would do us Diouf Senior.

I watced one of those old world cup shows and he was an amazing player when he was at his best. Not quite there yet but not far. I cant believe this is the same player from last year. Same with peds. Not sams biggest fan but he has to get a hell of a lot of credit for this

Diouf has sorted himself out but the test of his temperament and his cool may be tomorrow, Stoke can wind people up like we can...

Proving to be a real bargain as we paid very little for him, going into his prime years now, and a joy to watch when he is in the mood, plus its always nice to have a so called bad boy to wind the opposition fans up :-)

Hope he keeps it up with another great performance tomorrow. Expecting a very tough game as always on that narrow pitch.
