Allardyce : Focus on City not takeover

Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has told everyone to forget about takeover talk and focus on the matches in hand.

The takeover process is still very much ongoing despite the Big Man's comments yesterday.

But the more imminent job at hand is the daunting trip to face The Money tomorrow.

Big Sam said to the Lancashire Telegraph - "It can`t help but distract you when you are talking about someone buying your football club. There is always slight apprehension about them.

"It is a difficult period and a difficult transition for everyone to get to grips with. Coming towards the end of the window made it a bigger distraction than it needed to be.

"We have to wait and see what happens. We just have to wait and see and my main objective is to concentrate on the players picking up more points than they have at the moment.

"We have to keep the performances going because they are very, very good but stop throwing points away like we have done in the last few games.'

Good call boss, let's try and do something about my brother's lot tomorrow afternoon. Can't have him being a smug so and so like usual.

Gonna be tough but there's no reason why we can't get a result if we keep playing like we have.

Gonna be really tough, however we are a premiership club and we have to believe on our day we can beat anyone, city included!!

Good point today for you lot...Alot of sour grapes over on Vital City but you can expect that from a team who throw cash around and achieve nothing...They arnt no chelsea.
