Baby Diouf already loving life at the Rovers

Mame Biram Diouf has hailed his relatively young Rovers career and insists he already knows that he made the right call by moving here.

MB Diouf has already quadrupled last season's loan signing Franco Di Santo's goal output and claims all he wants from his stay here is to play games and to see where that takes him.

"Being here at Blackburn been quite good for me," Diouf said to the Lancashire Telegraph.

"I`m just trying to enjoy it as much as I can.

"I have made the right decision coming here.

"It was a good thing for me to come here because the only thing I wanted to play games, so as long as I`m playing it`s good.

"For me it`s not about getting attention from United now. It`s about working hard for the team I`m playing for.

"Now I`m playing for Blackburn so I have to give my best here.

"I will be focused on Blackburn now and we will see after."

Good lad.

keep those goals coming son!
sasman
4 goals in 2 games... he must be our most economic striker ever!
FreidelNo.1
lets hope he can keep it up :)

Imagine - 38 games, 76 goals. We would be ok with that I reckon ;)
Mikey Delap
78 goals for baby Diouf, if Niko and Benjani can chip in with 22 goals then a hundred would do us fine i think.... :P
marsmanic
ohh you said 76, Niko and Benji gonna have to work overtime to get the other two.
marsmanic
Good to hear! Just a thought.. but if the kid has a really good season with us.. we might be in a position to prize him away from United if Seyd's takeover goes through.
spinaker
Maybe J-Rob could bag his usual 5 as well? That would really push us over the top!!!
Mikey Delap
I've always been a massive fan of pace up front, its something that troubles any defender in the world and when you can combine it with decent finishing (take note Junior Hoillet) it greatly increases your chances of winning any game.
fransavarese
Totally agree with u there fransavarese. Nice to see a striker with pace who can finish as well at our club. We Always looked a threat on the break when we had Bellamy up there. Hope he scores more, bins the scum and signs for us next season lol
ITSALLROVER
Small Diouf looks like a good loaning so far, so much better than Di Santo in terms of goals scored. Sam will be considering signing him permanent if he continues scoring. Bring Bellamy back from Cardiff, why not?
metalrover
Made a good start and hopefully he does enough to possibly sign him, and not enough for united to want him back
glen9mullan
great to see some variety up front as well. not what we've been used to over the past few years
retroflair31
Spot on Glen... if he over-achieves they'll never let him go!
spinaker
So it sounds like we are after a balance then? Shall we say 11 EPL goals so he has done enough but not enough for United to want him back?!
