Zurab joins Reading on loan

Zurab Khizinashvili has joined Reading on loan for the season after being deemed surplus to requirements at Ewood Park.

Zurab played for both Reading and Newcastle on loan last season and was a solid performer for both.

This gets Khiza off the wages at Ewood Park for the season and gives the man himself the chance of some football.

Happy days.

really good move for all concerned.

Apparently he was somewhat of a revelation at Reading, they only lost 3 games out of the 15 he played for them.

I hope he gets some games cause he has been an honest hardworker the whole time he has been at Rovers. At times I did not think he was given a fair crack but that was before Nelsen and Samba formed their partnership. With Phil Jones coming through as well as Hanley I hope he plays well and earns himself a permanent move somewhere after.

Yeah the guy deserves first team football, been nothing but an honest hard worker and wish him the best on loan and hope he can attract a move to a good team
marsmanic
Forgot he was even still at Blackburn
Vanilla Ice
not really a good move for us. Sure, we drop some wages, but that means he just runs out his contract, and leaves on a free
sasman
Typical of rovers of late Sas, Rigters doing the same in Holland.
