Rovers meet Villa again

Things just got tough for the Rovers in the Carling Cup as today's third round draw has seen the Ewood side paired with Aston Villa.

In a repeat of last year's classic semi final which Villa won 7-4 on aggregate, Rovers will have a chance at revenge - but will feel a tad disappointed to have been drawn away.

But the match is a one off on the road to Wembley and it is a chance to knock a direct rival out.

Tough game but a winnable one!

It's a shame they were knocked out of the Europa League, they would've played a more weakened team if they were. Still, to win a cup you have to beat the best, I am confident that we can beat them.

Hoping for revenge this season as they're not playing too well. A lot of prem teams been drawn together so looks like a very good chance to get far in the tournament again hopefully.
