'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Arshavin warns Rovers of revenge mission

Andrey Arshavin has declared Saturday's match at lunch time against Blackburn as something of a revenge grudge match.

Rovers beat the Gunners at the end of last season 2-1 at Ewood Park in a game that concluded with Arsene Wenger doing his usual spoilt child routine whenever his side don't get what they want.

But the Russian forward is confident.

'We have a very important game against Blackburn,' Arshavin told his personal website.

'We should win in order to leave without any worries for a break caused by the participation of the players in the national teams, this will give confidence to the team.

'In addition, we haven't forgotten about the defeat against Blackburn at the end of the last season.'

Just make sure Arsene picks 'Flapianski' again Andrey!
