Rovers announce new squad numbers

Rovers have announced this seasons squad numbers one day ahead of the new season.

The clearest sign that J-Rob is on his way out is that he has not been given a squad number and Niko Kalinic is the new club number 9.

El Hadji Diouf is number 10 and Martin Olsson has been 'promoted' to number 3.

Another significant thing that has come out of naming the squad is that Chris Samba has been made captain, according to the official site, which I think is a great move. Nelly was a great captain but Samba was inspired to another level when he was given it last year during Nelly's injury.

Thats true Fran and I doubt Nelly needs the armband to continue to be the leader he is on and off the pitch.
Durks
Niko no.9 and deservedly so, Let's hope he fires the goals in for us.
