The Zonz signs new 5 year deal

Steven N'Zonzi has put pen to paper on a new five year Rovers contract.

The deal will keep the Frenchman at Rovers until 2015.

The youngster was only signed last summer but a string of impressive showings has convinced Big Sam and the gang to give the lanky so and so fresh terms.

Arsenal and Man United have been loosely credited with an interest for Steven over the last few months which whilst maybe walking the fine line of the truth goes to show how well he has done.

Steven joins Martin Olsson, Grant Hanley and Phil Jones in committing to life at Ewood Park.

Great news. I, along with most Rovers fans, think the Nzonzinator is a great prospect for the future. I was very impressed with how quickly he adapted to life in the Premier League. His distribution last season was up there with the best of the best.

He looked good when I saw him last season. Well done.

I think it is only fair that he is rewarded. When we first signed him I expected maybe 10 games out of him but he went way past that and exceeded mine and everybody's expectations.

Gr8 News, he deserves it after last season, lets hope he keeps getting better.

Quality player and would love to see him at the lane. Perhaps a swap for Jenas? :)
