Faty views Rovers as his top choice

Trialist Ricardo Faty has admitted that his current first choice option is at Blackburn after starting a trial at Ewood Park.

Faty is currently at Roma but can not get a game for love nor money and being in his early 20's is gagging for some regular action.

Faty is quoted in the Daily Mail as saying - 'Right now Blackburn are my best option. I would have loved to join a club in France but the opportunity has not come up. I could stay with Roma for another two years. However I'm 23 now, and I need first-team football.'

Things are certainly hotting up.

Top choice or Only Choice? Another defensive midfeilder seems a strange one seeing we have N'Zonzi, and with the new squad rules i'd much rather look for a proven international striker than buy another foreign player which willo eat into the 25 man squad and our foreign player allowance

strange one, because we could soon be offering Teymourian a deal. so im not sure i understand why we would offer Faty a deal as well, both are defensive midfielders

Could be a quality signing and i feel its looking more than likely Grella is off, besides its early days depending on how his trial goes

dont forget the ratio, we need 1 striker per 5 midfielders due to our formation!

Maybe all thse trials is because we are so low on numbers we aint got enough players for an 11 aside kickabout after training, plus the longer we leaqve it to buy a player the longer someone else is paying his wages, Poor excuses I know :-)
