Player Of The Season

Player Of The Season

With your help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2009-2010 season.

The nominations have finished and the final Award of the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2009-2010 is dished out with the PLAYER OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: David Dunn.

When asked to simply leave the name of your Player of the Season most felt Dunn should be the Award Winner, so congratulations to Dunny for picking up the highest accolade possible!! He adds this to his Midfielder of the Year Award.

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by clicking here.

rover23 said: "David Dunn.. for his goals from midfield.."

BomBom said: "Stephen N'Zonzi.

From nothing to first name on the sheet with Wenger poking around him, that takes some serious doing folks!

Serious kudos to the Fonzi!
"

adrianbrfc said: "Gotta be David Dunn for me!"

Mikey Delap said: "I'll go with Chris Samba.

He has been an absolute beast of a player all season long and has chipped with goals as well.

My vote - Chris Samba.
"

fransavarese said: "Going to go for N'Zonzi here. I mean he's been so good even SA has admitted his shear surprise at how good he has been for us. The best thing about it is he is only going to get even better!

Samba is a close second but for me...for me once Nelly moves on to Welly Phoenix if Samba is still here (hoping so!) he has to be the next captain for me.
"

FreidelNo.1 said: "I'm going for Gael Givet - I think the guy has been solid all season, played in different positions. (although, this is a tough one as there are lots of good players)"

LHrover said: "David Dunn without a doubt, he pulled us through some games on his own, and his goal talley this season was great!"

blackburnsean said: "Got to be Dunny for all the important goals our strikers didn't get!"

ITSALLROVER said: "David Dunn get's my vote, less injuries it would have been a landslide."

oziroversfan said: "Dunny for me too!"

Thanks for voting on this and all the other Awards this summer (a full list of winners will be published shortly), the VBer End of Season Awards will be back again next summer!!
