Vital Blackburn Newcomer Of The Season

With your help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2009-2010 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2009-2010 continue to be dished out with a Special Award suggested by BomBom for the VITAL BLACKBURN NEWCOMER OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: Tombo1984.

When asked to simply leave the name of the Vital Blackburn member you see as being the NEWCOMER of the Season most felt Money4midfeild & retroflair31 should be the Award Winners (I might be slightly wrong with retro actually getting one more vote, but one vote mentioned Money and BomBom (jokingly I think) so I took the Money vote), so congratulations to Money4midfeild & retroflair31!!

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by clicking here.

rover23 said: "It is a tough one... I can't remember who has come in this year..

I'm unsure when 74 joined.. and i'll have to vote for my own family member if i don't want any backlash! haha..

So my vote goes to Rover_since74..

If he did indeed join before this season.. then my vote goes to Tombo..
"

BomBom said: "Vinjay for me!

Ok, just kidding. Tombo has come from nowhere and actually makes my transfer rumour thread worth reading!

Tombo for me.

Apologies to anyone obvious I may have missed, but tough lol.
"

Mikey Delap said: "My vote goes to LH Rover.

It is a shame he such a good mate of Sasman's but you can't be perfect I guess ;)

He has given a good insight into topics this season and is not afraid to go against the grain.

However, 74, Tombo and Benni poo, Fran and Riisenholt have all made their presence known.

A good year for the newcomers!

My vote - LH Rover.

fransavarese said: "Tombo for me! Being fairly new myself I'm not entirely sure who is new but Tombo makes many a valid point which I tend to agree with so he gets the vote."

sasman said: "Plenty of fantastic new comers, as Delap has mentioned, but, LH Rover gets the vote for helping in the Team Benni Campaign."

LHrover said: "Im gonna vote Bennipoo - her interview with Sas was good and she wasnt afraid to stick up for John Terry. Thanks for the votes guys! but it might be a bit vain if i voted for meself."

ITSALLROVER said: "Not sure who's new as I am myself fairly New to the site."

FreidelNo.1 said: "Then I'll vote for you ITSALLROVER!"

oziroversfan said: "Only being new myself and not knowing too many other newbies, My vote goes to Tombo. Because as Fran says he makes many a valid point that i also tend to agree with."

retroflair31 said: "just reading the old posts and FN1 gave me some good advice not to go off the radar... which i kind of have done.... so I will agree with his wisdom and vote ITS ALL ROVER!"

Thanks for voting on this, however, please keep your votes coming in for these other Awards as there is still time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want.

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the COLIN HENDRY AWARD FOR DEFENDER OF THE SEASON so keep voting!! (Click here.)
