Best Team Faced By Rovers This Season

With your help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2009-2010 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2009-2010 continue to be dished out with the BEST TEAM FACED BY ROVERS THIS SEASON.

THE WINNER: Everton

When asked to simply leave the name of the team you believe had been the Best Team faced by Rovers last Season most felt Everton should be the Award Winner! So congratulations go to Everton (who prevented Arsenal winning for a second year running.)

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by clicking here.

rover23 said: "Arsenal at the Emirates.. 6-2.."

Mikey Delap said: "Everton at Goodison. 3-0 loss and really made us look awful. Did the double over us too.

My vote - Everton.
"

fransavarese said: "Yeah I'll go for that. Everton for my vote too."

sasman said: "Definitely Everton, out classed us the first time, got lucky the second time."

LHrover said: "the best team? villa. we beat them in the league but they played well and showed us what entertaining football is like at home in the cup."

BomBom said: "Id agree LH, Villa impressed me this season, they are lacking the killer instinct to take them into the top 4 IMO. A top end striker with their squad and they'll be there abouts!"

blackburnsean said: "Arsenal away. Very good football."

ITSALLROVER said: "Arsenal in the 6-2 game, yet again we couldn't live with em that day."

FreidelNo.1 said: "I hate to say it but Spurs - beat us home and away, good strong side, deserved their fourth spot finish."

luke5045 said: "Everton did well against us, was it 3-0 away and then the very entertaining 2-3 defeat at Ewood, i'd say either them or arsenal away, but i'm going to go with the toffees, they have a strong team."

Thanks for voting on this, however, please keep your votes coming in for these other Awards as there is still time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want.

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the WORST TEAM FACED BY ROVERS THIS SEASON so keep voting!! (Click here.)

Well done to Everton! One of only three teams to have done us twice last season!!!
Mikey Delap
The Toffees doubled us last season, they had a good team playing some good football, we were outplayed. But next season, it's time for some sweet revenge.
