Player Most Missed This Season

With your help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2009-2010 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2009-2010 continue to be dished out with the MIKEYGAMST AWARD FOR THE PLAYER MOST MISSED THIS SEASON.

THE WINNER: Tugay.

When asked to simply leave the name of the player you felt has been most missed this Season (injured or sold) most felt Tugay (who of course retired at the end of last season) should be the Award Winner! So congratulations to the Maestro who proved our biggest miss!!

And no sas you weren't able to vote twice!!

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by clicking here.

BigNumber5 said: "Tugay for a player who's left, but Dunn when he's been injured..."

adrianbrfc said: "Dunny when injured, nothing creative wise without Dunn."

Mikey Delap said: "Tugay, not even close for me.

My vote - Tugay.
"

fransavarese said: "Have to agree with Mikey. Definitely missed his creativity, that moment of magic. With Tugay no doubt some of the draws would have been wins. Still got my Tugay facemask from the last home game of 08/09...not that I walk around the house wearing it or anything haha. A type of player I'm hoping we will see again at Rovers in the future. Class, ability, loyalty, unbelievable tekkers...magic."

sasman said: "Brett Emerton for me...."

LHrover said: "Emo - he was on fire before he got injured. emo just shades it for me, though we did struggle without dunn."

BomBom said: "We still miss David Bentley IMHO and still feel he hasnt been replaced, however i digress.

It might not have been too bad a loss however but when you take an England International Left Back and lose him from your team, you cannot help but miss that quality. To be fair, we still havent replaced him with an orthodox LB so hes still missed for me.

Stephen Warnock.

sasman said: "Can i vote again? Brett Emerton......we missed his consistency on that right flank, would of linked really well with Salgado."

blackburnsean said: "Tugay! That guy was my life."

DommyWalker said: "Emo, the only reason diouf has played so many games."

ITSALLROVER said: "Vince Grella, with our style of play i think we would've been more solid in midfield if he played more."

FreidelNo.1 said: "David Dunn - if he didn't get injured and carried on playing and scoring we would have finished higher and Dunny could have made the England team..."

luke5045 said: "I think you've got to ask yourself, when you see that starting eleven, who's the missing name that makes you say out loud, "for **** sake", that would be David Dunn for me! He was missed several times last season."

Thanks for voting on this, however, please keep your votes coming in for these other Awards as there is still time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want.

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the MOMENT OF THE SEASON so keep voting!! (Click here.)
