The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2009-2010 continue to be dished out with the WORST MOMENT OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: Losing the Carling Cup Semi-Final.

When asked to simply leave the moment, which you felt was the WORST Rovers Moment of the Season most felt the defeat (be this in the first or second leg) in the Carling Cup Semi-Final against Aston Villa should be the Award Winner! So congratulations go to Villa for making one of their best moments of the season one of our worst!!

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by click here.

rover23 said: "Robbie Blake netting an early goal at Ewood in my first live Dingle Derby.."

Mikey Delap said: "My vote - Losing the first leg of the Carling Cup semi so tamely at Ewood Park to Aston Villa."

fransavarese said: "0-0 away at Pompey against 10 men for so long. How did we not score?!"

LHrover said: "Burnley scoring first at Ewood - thank god it didn't end up that way."

BomBom said: "You just knew, bloody KNEW that Samba was going to walk for that tackle on Gay-briel Agbonla-whore and the impending result that would subsequently follow.

Gutting, especially as I thought we would've given United a better game in the final.
"

sasman said: "Grella getting injured.....again lol."

blackburnsean said: "Burnley opening the scoring. Ouch."

ITSALLROVER said: "Samba sending off VS Villa in CC semi final, we would have won that game if that didn't happen."

FreidelNo.1 said: "Losing the second leg of the carling cup - after leading, then Samba being sent off - an emotional rollercoaster! (Although I have to say the best two semi finals I've seen in a long time)."

Thanks for voting on this, however, please keep your votes coming in for these other Awards as there is still time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want.

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the SASMAN AWARD FOR WORST HAIRDO OF THE SEASON so keep voting!! (Click here.)

Bad memory that, cracking second leg but it isn't as good when you have lost it!

Carling Cup 2nd Leg. The flurry of goals in second half after Samba got sent off...One goal after another....If we'd weathered the storm it would have been a close one.. The most humiliating moment came when even Heskey managed to get his name on the score sheet...
