Month Of The Season

Month Of The Season

With your help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2009-2010 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2009-2010 continue to be dished out with the MONTH OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: May 2010.

When asked to simply leave the Month, which you felt saw Rovers have their Month of the Season most felt May should be the Award Winner. Congratulations must go to Arsenal and Aston Villa for losing against us (not that they'd want this or they let us win) to see us end the season on a real high and helping make this the month to remember!!

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by click here.

rover23 said: "March/April.. when we beat the dingles.. drew against Chelsea and manure at Ewood.."

adrianbrfc said: "April/May, drew with United and beat Arsenal and Villa in May."

Mikey Delap said: "I am gonna have to plump for May. Out of the whole season we have been hit and miss in each month but with only two fixtures in May it would have been difficult to get it right.

But those games were Arsenal at home and Aston Villa away.

AND WE WON THEM BOTH.

My vote - May.

fransavarese said: "March for me. Beating dingles away, Brum at home (when they were on a hot streak) and the draw with Chelski. Ok we got thumped by spurs away but those other 3 results were crucial to our top half finish."

LHrover said: "May, we won both villa and le arse, can't say i expected either result! so was really good!"

BomBom said: "February

Sam was on the brink after some lack lustre performances but a decent run and a performance and a half in the 2nd leg of the carling cup saw Rovers emerge as a team to be feared to face again and sparked an amazing run that saw us get points from games we usually lose.
"

spinaker said: "I'm gonna say May... purely for the fact that those wins over Arsenal & Villa took us into the top10 and made this season a successful one. If we had lost both.. we would have finished 14th!!"

blackburnsean said: "May, 2 great games."

DommyWalker said "May. perfect ending for the season and leaves much to cheer for in the next."

ITSALLROVER said: "May...has to be top 10 finish rounded off the hard work."

FreidelNo.1 said: "Agreed - May."

Thanks for voting on this, however, please keep your votes coming in for these other Awards as there is still time to vote so click here for the list of categories and vote on the one(s) you want.

Next to be dished out will be the Award for the WORST MOMENT OF THE SEASON so keep voting!!! (Click here.)
