With your help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2009-2010 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2009-2010 continue to be dished out with the INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: Phil Jones v Chelsea (on his debut).

When asked to simply leave the name of the player and the opponent against whom you felt the Individual Performance of the Season came against most felt Phil Jones, on his debut no less against eventual Premier League Champions Chelsea should be the Award Winner. So congratulations to Jonesy!!

Mikey Delap said: "I will actually say Chris Samba's performance in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the game Jones made his breakthrough.

He was an absolute monster.

My vote - Chris Samba v Chelsea.

fransavarese said: "I'm gonna go for Phil Jones in the Chelsea game at home too. More specifically the moment where he made about 3 tackles in a row and really got the crowd going, absolutely fantastic."

BomBom said: "I can't disagree with that, considering it was his full debut AND he got man of the Match!

Phil Jones against CSKA London!
"

blackburnsean said: "Phil Jones at Chelsea again. Loved that triple tackle."

ITSALLROVER said: "Phil Jones VS Chelsea definitely, didn't end 0-5 either."

FreidelNo.1 said: "I'd say Phil Jones in all of the matches he played - he was a breath of fresh air, had confidence, energy and ability."
