Big Sam puts Dubai rumours to bed

Sam Allardyce will not be leaving Blackburn Rovers for Al Ahli.

A source close to the Rovers boss (yes I know) has stepped out to put pay to the rumours linking Allardyce with a move away from Ewood Park.

The fact that Big Sam has been on holiday in Dubai has hardly squashed the recent rumours but Allardyce's spokesman has confirmed that nothing sinister is going on.

The source is reported in the Lancashire Telegrpah as saying - "There is no truth in Sam going to Dubai, other than perhaps for a holiday."

Maybe that will put the rumours to bed? All we need is a cheeky little Allardyce statement and we can all move on.

I personally am happy this is coming out now. We don't need this dragging on.

Big Sam is doing a good job and should stay where he is comfortable. Like at Bolton he seems happy with his place on the rung.
