Gray Happy To Stay

Michael Gray has signed a new two-year deal which commits him to Ewood Park until 2008 and has admitted he is exicited about the future at Ewood Park.

Former England international Gray, 31, would have been out of contract next month and could have left for free but decided to stay at one of the most improving clubs in Britian.

He said: 'It was great to be part of the scene last season and what lies ahead is very exciting.'

Gray, who joined on a free transfer from Sunderland in January 2004, added: 'I'm very happy here and delighted to be staying on.'

" what a boost for you- i am pleased as he is a top player"

what do you guys think of shefki kuqi, we loved his un-orthodox style here at ipswich, we were very sad to see him go. he is technically a rubbish footballer, his touch is bad, and finishing sometimes worse, but somehow he is amazing!!!!never gives in, passionate, and manages to disguise his lack of technical skill with moments of fortune, i love Shefki Kuqi! i hope you do too.

Kuqi is a decent player. Always gives his all. Gray is an under-rated full back. I cant believe he had difficulty finding a club a few years back. Done well esp in the 2nd half of the season.

That is a very good bit of business for you. He's a class player and always give nothing short of his best.

I reckon he can look forward to UEFA Cup football within the next 2 seasons! Great News for you!
