Rovers Aussie Tour Details!

After yesterdays confirmation of tour, as promised, here are the details, courtesy of the official Sydney FC Website

Blackburn will kick off the tour at the family friendly time of 3pm against Glasgow, and finish of the tour against the hosts, Sydney FC

Sunday 25 July:

ame 1 at 12:45pm - Sydney FC v AEK Athens FC

ame 2 at 3pm - Blackburn Rovers v Glasgow Rangers

Wednesday 28 July:

ame 3 at 6pm - AEK Athens FC v Blackburn Rovers

ame 4 at 8:15pm - Sydney FC v Glasgow Rangers

Saturday 31 July:

ame 5 at 5pm - AEK Athens FC v Glasgow Rangers

ame 6 at 7:15pm - Sydney FC v Blackburn Rovers

What is interesting is the actual points format, which should encourage some entertaining football.

As normal, 3 points will be awarded for a win, and 1 point for a draw. However, a point will also be awarded for each goal scored! So lets home Sam does not start J Rob up front! Jokes Jokes!

Further information can be found on the official Sydney FC website

Good points scoring system!!!! Really good... can Rovers win this though?
Mikey Delap
We'll have to hope we have a free scoring striker on board by then if it's points per goals... either that, or we make the goal posts slightly narrower to help Kalinic!!

Can we not just sack goal posts altogether and have jumpers in their place?!
Mikey Delap
The point scoring system will def. make it interesting!! Ticket prices are fantastic!! And looking forward to getting some of the merchandise which is so hard to get a hold of down here! We may need to sort out what tickets we are all going to get so we can meet up! :)
