Dubious goals panel make their minds up

Good news and bad this morning as the dubious goals panel have made calls over goals involving three Blackburn players.

The panel has awarded Martin Olsson his goal against Hull City at Ewood Park from earlier this year.... Martin if you remember lashed one in from a stupidly acute angle and took a clip of Boaz Myhill before hitting the corner of the net.

But the goal is now officially Olssons to call his own, richly deserved.

Nikola Kalinic has also had his goal against Bolton at Ewood Park in the 3-0 win confirmed, there wasn't much doubt as bar a clip of a defenders leg it was going in.

But bad news as Junior Hoilett has had his final day effort against Aston Villa ruled as an own goal for Richard Dunne.

It was 'dubious' at best and despite the inevitable annoyance of Junior this has to be the right call as Dunne got a large touch on the ball.
