Rovers not actively trying to sell Vince

Blackburn are not actively trying to sell Vince Grella - despite claims he could be off to Turkey to spend some lira on a budget beer.

Word has reached my desk in Sheffield that Galatasaray did make an enquiry for the blond bombshell but have not followed it up... and Rovers are not pushing them for a bid as they would prefer to keep Grella, ella, ella, ella, eh eh if they can.

There was word that Grella could be offloaded to the Turkish giants to make room for Guti's wages but this seems to be a little widde of the mark.

Big Sam is an admirer of Grella, when he on the pitch and not seen in a cast or limping.

That seems to be the way of the world this morning.

I personally would like to keep Vince as despite all the nonsense with the injuries he is clearly a talented lad.

It is a shame we've never seen the best of him really. can see why big Sam likes hims as he's a no nonsense tough tackling footballer. When fit and alongside Nzonzi we should have a very solid midfield, but with Pedersen switching to the middle and Dunn and maybe (fingers & toes crossed) Guti on the way I think either Grella or Andrews would be making way.

I like him too and enjoy seeing another Aussie player on the pitch for Rovers. He is a strong and tough player. But he needs to stay fit!!! If he plays well in the world cup he might be worth selling if a big offer comes in.
