Williams stands firm over Allardyce

Blackburn chairman and all round good bloke John Williams has issued a big 'hands off' warning to West Ham as he warns that any sort of approach for current Rovers boss Sam Allardyce will not be met kindly.

In a brief statement the Rovers purse string holder made his point clear.

John Williams gave a brief statement to the Lancashire Telegraph and said - "There`s been no approach and we wouldn`t welcome any approach,"

Why beat around the bush when you can make yourself clear swiftly?

I think so - West Ham want Avram, and I don't think the fans would want Big Sam and his 'style' of football either.

Had this popped up 1 year ago how many people would be biting off west ham's hand? I've always stood by sam and I'm glad J-Willy has quickly come out and made the clubs stance clear.

on the bright side, it's a testament to what Big Sam has achieved here.

We should buy Mr Williams a t-shirt that says "Step outside porn boy"

I wouldn't cross a man with that luxurious of a mustache. It's like fighting a pretty boxer--bad news.
