Rovers replacing one Norwegian with another?

Rovers replacing one Norwegian with another?

Blackburn Rovers are today being linked with Molde midfielder Magne Hoseth, according to various papers and Goal.com.

Allardyce and co are reported to have started negotiations over a move for the international who is best deployed out on the left.

Goal.com are reporting - 'The 29-year-old began his career with local club Averoykameratene, before spending six years with Molde. He then transferred to Danish heavyweights FC Copenhagen prior to a short spell with Valerenga.

However, the midfielder returned to Molde in 2006.

Now The Daily Mail reports that Rovers have opened preliminary negotiations aimed at signing the attacking midfielder for a fee of £450,000.'

Hoseth was the other day quoted as saying he would be game for a move to England and Rovers as he has close contact with potentially soon to be ex-player Morten Gamst Pedersen.

One friend moves out and one moves in, or just harmless gossip?

Would kinda make sense given the fee involved but we wont know anything concrete until Morten says Yay or Nay.
