Nzonzi lands Player of the Year!

Blackburn Rover's annual awards night went of yesterday evening, with a few surprises

Steve Nzonzi was rewarded for a stellar debut season in the English Premier League, awarded the Blackburn Rovers Player of the year award.

The Young Player of the year went to Croatian Nikola Kalinic, whilst Gael Givet recieved the Player's PLayer of the Year

Blackburn Rovers PLayer of the Year- Steve Nzonzi

Young PLayer of the Year- Nikola Kalinic

Players Player of the Year- Gael Givet

Unsung Hero- Chris Samba

Goal of the Season- Martin Olsson V Villa

Best Newcomer- Michel Salgado

Outstanding Performance- Phil Jones v Chelsea

Most Man of the Match Performances- David Dunn

Special Achievement- Morten Gamst Pedersen



ongrats to all the lads mentioned, and the whole squad in general. Though whats the Special Achievement award!!!

Think that's the end for Peds then, special achievement = finally learning how to kick a ball again after 2-3 seasons of patchy below par football.

More than deserved! No one could have ever seen the impact that the zonz has had at Rovers. I see Linganzi has been tipped by Sam for a start at Villa. I just hope he can have half the impact zonz did!

Been so impressed with him this year, who could of known he would have this impact? Love that Big Chris got unsung hero, and words cannot describe how chuffed I am for the big trampy french man!!!
