Ledley in as Morten on the way out?

Blackburn Rovers are this morning being linked with soon to be out of contract Cardiff City star Joe Ledley.

The Daily Mirror amongst others are reporting that if Cardiff fail to go up via the Championship Play Offs then Ledley will look for a move to the Premiership and Blackburn are now in for him with an enquiry.

This of course is all tied into the Morten Gamst Pedersen contract situation with 'Ditherer Boy' still taking ages to make his mind up.

But Ledley seems to be the best option as he will be available for cheap and has the talent to make the step up to the EPL.

Cardiff would get a tribunal based fee as Cardiff developed the lad and are due a fee under current rules. Fair enough.

Interesting. This move actually makes sense as well as the boy can play.

Do he plays the same position as Gamst or?........cheers

sounds fair enough! couldnt we come to a pre agreed fee with Cardiff, keep everyone happy!

Can play left side of midfield or in a central position as morten does. 6ft, good on the ball, could be a good buy if morten goes, though whether he can make that step up to the prem remains to be seen...

Would be a good signing, fits the bill with what Big Sam is trying to do in building a good young squad. I bet his wages would cost a lot less than the amount Gamst is after as well.

I would say his wages would be about the same... We won't be the only one after him!

yeah competition from all sides on this one... maybe the clubs way of saying 'sign you damn fairy, there are plenty of other options out there'
retroflair31
Is he any good?

I aint seen much of Ledley but iv had a gut full of Pederson and how he has the nerve to keep the club waiting after he has been drawing a wage for the past three seasons with performances that have been **** is beyond me!!! The gut has had a couple of decent games this time and should be begging to make things right after the dross hes been serving up!!!!......breath out....ahhhhhhhhhh!!! ha ha
