Run and hide Morten, you've enraged the beast

Well, it was bound to happen sooner rather than later.

After months of going back and forth and leading Rovers a merry jig, Morten Gamst Pedersen has finally made the Rovers boss angry when it comes to his new deal.

Morten is looking at the last major deal of his career (more than likely) and has taken his time to decide... but it has verged on taking the Michael.

And finally, the patience has worn thin from the normally calm Allardyce (I kid, I kid)

When asked by Sky Sports whether Morten would be at the club next season, Big Sam snapped back sharply - 'No.'

When then asked by the same crew whether Morten has shunned the new deal, Sam again with a sting in his tail said - 'I don't know.'

'I'm sick of it. Speak to the chairman. It's his baby, not mine. He deals with the finances.

'To be honest, they'll sort it out between them, and if he makes a decision then I'll find out.

'Hopefully it will be the right decision, but we're going to need one, and in the next few days because it can't keep lingering on and on and on.'

Not good Fairy, not good at all.

He had a good game yesterday - his corners led to the goals, he had a couple of good freekicks - long throws causing problems. I want him to stay.

I hope he stays but he shouldn't be trying to hold the club to ransom after a patchy few seasons and a recent slight return to form. Do the right thing Mr G P and ditch the agent and sign the papers. can't be such a bad offer surely!!!
