Wenger Praises Rovers!!!!!!

Wenger Praises Rovers!!!!!!

In a pre-match discussion with the official Arsenal Website, Sam Allardyce's best friend, Arsene Wenger, has come out and complimented Blackburn....

Hold on, surely this cant be the man who has forever tainted Rovers as physical, boring and long ball, further reminding us since Allardyce has taken over....

'Blackburn have done remarkably well,They are 11th in the League and they have turned things around. They have played good football this season I believe and had good games against Chelsea and Man United. It promises to be an interesting and exciting game because they will go for the win as they have nothing to lose anymore. It could be a good end-of-season game.

WOW!!!! straight from the words of Mr Wenger....

Now surely there must be something behind this. Hold on. Aren't Arsenal linked with our rising prodigy, Phil Jones, and midfield enforcer, Steven Nzonzi....

Hmmmmmm

All heads for an interesting encounter. I just wonder what Sam will say in response!!!

They have nothing to play for anymore? So do you, Arsene. So do you.

I bet you couldn't actually find any quotes where Wenger actually describes Blackburn as "long ball" or "boring." (Physical you certainly could). Wenger has never derided the long ball game anyway, it's just a convenient, lazy journalistic snipe that has passed into accepted fact.

Brighton winning and Newcastle drawing saw Albion return to the top of the table. Huddersfield couldn't close the gap though. Wigan, Blackburn & Rotherham are still the bottom three.
