Cisse Too Expensive For Rovers

Blackburn Rovers are understood to have been priced out of a move for Djibril Cisse.

Rovers have often been linked with the Cisse over the years by newspaper reports, however, any chance of the striker leaving Panathinaikos to come to Ewood Park have been dashed by the Greek clubs 12million valuation of the French International, which is also a fee that is understood to have frightened off West Ham United.

Not only is the transfer fee high (too high!!) for the former Liverpool striker Cisse's wage demands are understood to be 100,000 (or more) per week!! The Frenchman has no chance of Rovers (or any other team) matching this, or the asking fee!!
