Pedersen heading for contract renewal?

Morten Gamst Pedersen continues to leave Rovers in limbo with his contract decision but his agent seems to think that he will more than likely stay.

Pedersen has more than one offer to juggle (thanks to his agent) but Rovers seem to be heading for more good news than bad - depending on if you rate Morten or not!

A decision is on the horizon but the latest news is that Morten will probably re-sign.

But with his agent Rune Hauge commenting to the the Lancashire Telegraph, things look pretty good for a positive decision - 'Things are positive between the club and Morten, but there are still these little details to sort out, and the little details are often the big things.

'He is enjoying his football at Blackburn and he is enjoying the new midfield role he is playing. Everything is good at Blackburn, things are positive.

'But we don't know how long until a decision is made, it could be any time.'

So it seems we could be keeping Morten, his move into a more central position has given him a new lease of life.

But will it sustain once the new contract has been won? Million Pound question?

Keeping us waiting dude....

I hope he signs, it would be the loyal thing to do by MGP. we've stuck by him for 2-3 fairly average seasons and even on recent form he's still some way off the player he was in 05-06.

the problem is, on a free transfer, and cheap wages, who could we sign to replace him....id put my hand up, but the problem is im right footed, and sam would prefer dioufy on the right flank instead of me...:D

I would prefer Bom on the right compared to you :p

good news. hopefully he will continue the form he has been in recently. but seriously gamst, pull your head in and sign on the dotted line... after all, your not getting a better deal anywhere else
