Steven N'Zonzi insists there is more to come from him and this is only the beginning of his football education.
The Zonz has been without any doubt the find of the season, perhaps in the whole league after arriving from little known French club Amiens.
But N'Zonzi is suprised at how much he has played.
The Zonz, speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph said - "This year has been good for me because I have played. I hope it will continue like that.
"I have played more than I thought I would. I have played a lot of games and it is important to keep training hard and keep learning as much as I can "I think I can get better, of course. I am only young so every game and every day I try to do my best and get better if I can. I have enjoyed this season but I know I can get better."
"It was very disappointing. We wanted three points against Everton but it was very difficult because we allowed them to take the lead twice.
Steven thinks that Saturdays strike against Everton was easily his best ever from a personal stand point but he is more concerned about the fact Rovers didn't win.
The Zonz continued - "That was my second Premier League goal but my first at home. I am not very happy though because we lost the game. I prefer to not score and for us to win the game.
"I hope the next game will be better. We will be looking to make up for that by winning on Saturday. That is most important to us all.
"I have never scored a goal like that before. That was my best ever but winning the game was the most important thing and we didn`t do that."
Cracking attitude from a very likeable young man.
Keep it going Steven.
