Big Chris missing for Toffees clash

Massive defender Chris Samba is out of the game with Everton on Saturday after not recovering in time from the strain suffered at home to Man United last Sunday.

Samba will sit out the match with the in form Goodison outfit but the good news is that Brett Emerton and Martin Olsson have recovered from knocks and will be back in the starting line up more than likely.

Vince Grella is rated as doubtful after playing a full 90 minutes last weekend, which is 80 minutes more than he normally last.

The extra workload must have nearly killed him!

Blackburn Rovers (from)- Robinson, Brown, Dunn, Olsson, Salgado, Pedersen, Nzonzi, Nelsen, Andrews, Givet, Jacobsen, Grella, Hoilett, Roberts, Diouf, Kalinic, Chimbonda, Jones, Emerton, Di Santo, Basturk.

Not good that Samba is missing but I reckon we have enough about us to bag a result!!!

Gutted that he's out cause he's been superb (especially since he got the captaincy!) but on the other hand I'm excited to see Jones play again and it's good to see Nelly back.

When Samba was made captain he also refrained from making reckless challenges which have got him into trouble - and he's been playing well. But we've got a great replacement in Nelsen!
