Three Rovers facing fitness battle

Three Rovers facing fitness battle

Three Rovers are sweating on their fitness - Chris Samba, Brett Emerton and Martin Olsson all picked up knocks in the Man United battle and will be in a race to beat the clock for the weekend game against Everton.

Samba had to be replaced by Ryan Nelsen midway through the first half of the 0-0 draw after picking up a groin strain after a funny fall.

Aussie Emerton felt his hamstring twinge and did not appear for the 2nd half and was replaced by David Dunn. This is obviously due to the fact we can't possibly have two Australians fit at one time it seems!

Elsewhere Olsson picked up an ankle injury AND dead leg after being far to quick for 12 year old girl moustache grower Gary Neville.

All three are doubts for the weekend which is a concern as all three are integral parts of the Ewood Park crew.

Not good as all three can be considered first team regulars for sure...

Any other Team Neville would of been sent off for the amount of nasty tackles he did to our boys as it was it took at least 5-6 nasty fouls in plain view of the ref to warrrant a yellow, i would hope ollsson will be match fit, emerton to be relied on as a sub with dunn to start, nelson can replace samba to play alongside jonesy.
