Grella finally hoping for a bit of luck

Vince Grella, in a haven't we heard this before moment, has stated that he finally hopes to have made the move from nearly man to clearly can man.

Grella has had an absolute shocker with injuries since his arrival at Ewood Park in the summer of 2008 and has drawn the ire of fans for his Steven Reid like ability to stay glued to the treatment table.

But Grella is keeping his fingers crossed and hoping that by biding his time this time round, he can perform for both Rovers and the World Cup bound Aussies.

Grella, speaking to the in no way Conservative Party biased Daily Telegraph said - "It's been a bit of a nightmare run in England for me, a bad roller-coaster ride,'

'When I've been fit and on the pitch I've done well, I just haven't had any consistency. I'm positive that with a bit of luck I could get some joy, and hopefully I can actually use the freshness to do well at the World Cup.'

Please for the love of christ let this be the time that it works out for both our sakes.

He had a bad (ok terrible) game vs Pompey. Hopefully its a blip and we will put it down to lack of match fitness but I'm running low on excuses here. For the love of god stay fit until the end of the season Vincenzo !

Gone off injured again while playing for the reserves. Although he should be ok for the United game.
