Jones : That was a dream debut

Jones : That was a dream debut

Rovers defender Phil Jones has given a short statement in relation to his 'fairly reasonable' debut yesterday at home to Chelsea.

Phil is probably pinching himself today at quite how well he did but he took time out to mention he wished he was playing for the Youth Team tonight!!!

The 18-year-old, new fans favourite speaking to rovers.co.uk, said "That was unreal.

'I really enjoyed it. I wish I was playing (in the Youth Cup) though.

'The boys have done brilliantly to get to this stage and they can go one further."

Nice to see he is a grounded chap as well... great work Big Philly! Keep it up!

sounds fantastic! lets just hope he gets eased into the team, rather thrown in every week. Not that he cant handle it, but you wouldnt want the young kid to suffer any injuries, he needs to bulk up a touch

Just Saying, But What If....

Blackburn will do well under the boss. However, for arguments sake, if Rovers didn't secure an instant Championship return what would happen to Mowbray?

Caddis At The Double

Caddis has now spent the past three weeks with Blackburn, joining the club in Austria last week, and Mowbray, his boss at Celtic earlier in his career, is close to making his decision.
