FA Youth Cup- Rovers 0 Chelsea 1

An unfortunate own goal by Tom Hitchcock has given Chelsea the advantage and tightly fought out battle in the first leg of the FA Youth Cup at Ewood Park

A Corner by Sala in the 23rd minute was directed into the back of the net by Hitchock with the slightest of touches. Rovers did have their chances to pull an equaliser, to no avail.

The tie did have a sour note, with Rovers and Chelsea both having a man sent off, Michael Potts and Aliu Djalo starting a brawl on the pitch.

Blackburn will have to take an attacking outfit minus one of their main attacking threats to Stamford Bridge on Monday in the hope of reaching the final!

Fear not, its only the first leg and you are only a goal down. Chelsea could still lose in the second leg. A pity Kakuta or Sturridge didn't score.
Seabourch
Only half time and anything can happen!!!! Get into em lads, the tie is still alive!
Mikey Delap
well Seabourch, they don't play for the youth team. Its mitrovic as a solo striker for the u-18s with tore and sala as the front three.

it'll be an interesting Monday night I reckon!

Oops sorry, I don't really follow the U-18's. Well hopefully the second leg will be one cracker of a tie, regardless of the result.
Seabourch
Any footage of the brawl?
