Diouf potentially facing jail

Rovers midfielder/striker/free kick winner El Hadji Diouf has been informed that he could face jail for up to TWO YEARS if he is convicted of assaulting a woman in a Senegalese Casino.

Diouf is no stranger to trouble which everyone is probably aware of.

He was given a suspended jail term for assaulting an team mate's ex-wife and also charged with spitting at a Celtic fan a few years back when playing for Liverpool.

But this latest misdemeanour could be the ice breaker as Diouf has been charged with assaulting a woman along with his security crew at 6am... he was charged last week whilst on a visit to Senegal to help the Haitian Earthquake Cause.

If convicted the punishment could be either a fine and/or (more likely given his history) a jail sentence of between three months and two years.

If only there was a picture I could use of me slapping my head with my hand. Idiot.

what is the betting that some money is thrown at it an he gets his wrists slapped. the sad thing is that he is a decent player, but is also such a complete arse.

Coyle Content With Birmingham Point

Blackburn would have moved out of the bottom three with a win over Birmingham at Ewood Park on Saturday but Rovers had to settle for a point in the end.
