Grella picks up a knock AGAIN!!!

Vince Grella was withdrawn from the Blackburn Reserves squad for the game against Hull City last night... BEFORE THE GAME KICKED OFF.

Grella, a man who has a history of picking up knocks, niggles and hayfever, actually sustained a bit hit in the warm up and struggled that much that he had to be removed from the starting line up.

For the match itself, Rovers won 1-0 as both sides put out strong line ups as both sides have players in need of match fitness.

David Dunn bagged the winner and was generally the best player on the pitch by a country mile as he presses for inclusion for our lunch time kick off on Saturday against Spurs.

Yildiray Basturk and Brett Emerton were also amongst the players who played a good, healthy part of a game.

Healthy is not a word we can use for Vince Grella.

time to get him sold.... doesnt play enough games.. and cost us 4.5m what a waste of money..

I agree - with the new regulations coming in for next season we can't have too many fragile players - especially in one playing position - Dunn, Grella, Reid, Emerton, - on the other hand though - I hope this isn't Grella trying to come back too early before he is properly healed and causing himself more injuries.
