Improve Away And It's Top Ten!!

Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce has had a carrot dangled in front of him.

Allardyce has been told that the higher we finish the mire spending money he'll have in the summer. The 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers on Sunday was a fourth successive win at Ewood Park and took us to within touching distance of the top ten!! Relegation hasn't been completely eliminated, however, the threat of this is almost gone (more importantly really) so the priority now should be securing this top ten place.

Personally I feel that as long as we can improve our away form then this is a very realistic and attainable target so Big Sam's got to use this carrot to motivate the players or this carrot could be used as the stick that many end up using to beat him with!! The outcome of his summer's transfer kitty is very much in his own hands so it's down to him to motivate (and set up the team right) in the remaining months of the season.

I wish these comments wouldn't come just before a VERY difficult run of games. Every time a player or someone talks of still making Europe or moving on up the table we go tits up! Leave the speculation about the table until the end of the season and "Get Into 'Em"!

I think this is fair game to dangle the carrot.... it is a good incentive and gives Sam and the boys somet to aim for. We have been told we can return to trading club as opposed to selling cvlub this summer with a decent finish but with a good finish we can have money spare! Nice work.

lets hope for a few fa cup draws in other games, more postponements and random time allocations....that way there is a greater chance we will get more tv coverage and extra cash!!!

top ten is realistic, but away we have been not so good this season, ive been to a lot of away games, spent almost a grand, so come on rovers repay my faith and lets get some points on the road!

As long as we don't fall lower than 12 I'll be happy. I think we could finish in 9th, but it would depend more on teams above us having a wobble or that they've run out of steam and feel that they are safe so start to relax. I hope we go on to fight for every game until the end of the season because we, the fans, deserve it.

Our home form will see us through, of that I am sure but if we wanna hit top 10 I echo the sentiments of LH, sort out the away form!!!

Sam and the team should be looking at finishing in the top 10. It's realistic, but Europa qualification i don't think so. If we can improve our disastrous away form, we could have a good season.
