'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Olsson loving it at Ewood Park

Martin Olsson has shed some light and love on life at Blackburn - saying it is like a home away from home.

Martin has had a new lease of life at Blackburn recently and he even goes as far to say that he would turn down other clubs to stay at Ewood Park in the future.

Olsson, speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph said -"As long as I play well and enjoy my football that`s probably the most important thing right now,"

"I came here when I was 17 and when you come that young you start knowing everything about Blackburn and the people.

"I`ve been here for four years and it feels like my second home to be honest.

"If I were to get a new contract I`d be happy to stay, even if there were clubs after me.

"I`d be happy to stay at Blackburn and play here every week.

"But I`m not thinking about a deal to be honest. I`m just excited to play and be able to show how the fans how I play.

"The deal will come later. All that will come later."

Good to hear this for a change and a bit of commitment will go down with the fans...

Good to see him playin some very good football and also the fact he's enjoying it too. He's been my fav player to watch so far this season.

I'd personally always had high hopes for Olsson, however, I was worried he'd gone off the rails and wouldn't come back. Thankfully he has though and long may this (and his love for Rovers) continue!!
