Benni wants to join the Hammers

Rovers striker Benni McCarthy has apparently told Sky Sports that he is keen to join the Hammers after they lodged an initial bid for the South African.

Although Sky Sports have no direct quotes, this does back up what Vital Blackburn's Bom Bom has been saying for a little while now - Benni wants out of Rovers.

Sky Sports has Boom Boom down as saying although he has the upmost respect for Sam and the Rovers board, Benni does feel it is best he ends his four year stay at Rovers now.

So there you go...

Shame really!! Despite his questionable fitness, he is still Rovers best finisher. I really hope we get someone quality in, if he goes!

Personally I felt that Benni should've been given more of a chance this season before he made up his mind he wanted to leave Ewood. However, as Benni's now done this we need to get rid of him quickly as this isn't a situation that is helping anyone!! What's he going to do if he has to stay though, as seems the case??

Championship Cost Per Goal So Far In 2016/17

The end of the Championship campaign of 2016/17 is only a month and a bit away from fans across the country but as we go in to the remaining weeks of the campaign...

Positive Signs For Bennett

Bennett was positive of Blackburn being able to see off Lancashire rivals Preston heading into this game at Ewood Park after the Norwich and Fulham results.

Minor Graham Setback

Blackburn had to do without Danny Graham against Preston following the groin problem that forced him off against Fulham last week. He could return against Brighton next week.

Hugely Frustrating

Mowbray admitted Blackburn didn't start the game well against Preston but had then been the dominant side so was 'majorly disappointed' not to record a victory.
