'If It's Football, It's Vital'

What??.....No Games for Rovers this weekend!

With the FA Cup dominating this weekend's fixtures, it looks like our boys will be taking a break from competitive action, possibly taking a break from football it self until Wednesday's important midweek clash against Wigan.

With rumours that several players have been given 2 days off to freshen up before the run in, it might just be a blessing in disguise that Aston Villa knocked us out of the FA cup a fortnight ago. Blackburn have played the most number of games (apart from Villa), since the start of 2010, with Carling Cup Semi Finals, as well as EPL matches going ahead, whilst games around them were postponed. A couple of days off might just do the lads well, however, many might take the alternate route, do our boys deserve the break, with 1 win to show for the run of games.

Even Big Sam is reported to be overseas, however, he is possibly looking at a few signings, possibly a star bargain like Nzonzi, or a comical flop like Salgado.....Hopefully the first.

Anyways, sit back, put your feet up, or in my case, head out into town, and enjoy a weekend free of Football, for the first time in a while!

And whilst Im at it, you thought you had seen the back of the Sas.....Well Sas is now back in action, after a fortnight of gruelling summer University, the Good Lookin Aussie is back in town! Cheers to Mr Delap for covering in the mean time! Time for the lad to head out into town for some drinks!

So nice he said it twice! Nice to have you back buddy! Hope Uni went well. It will be good for the lads to have some time off and then focus on the Wigan game. Like us all they will be gutted at having not made Wembley but they should use it as a positive thing that they did so well in the second leg!

It was a good weekend for us - we didn't lose! I think the players need a break, they have played a load of games recently and the cup game will have deflated them a bit. Now they can rest up, heal some injuries and get ready for the league games. Wigan and West Ham will be tough games but we should be looking at 4 points at least (although we never get much at Ham!)

west ham is a bit of a bogey team for us, cant complain though, we won the league cause of them...im forever blowing bubbles
