Dickov Quizzed Over Sommeil Spat

Blackburn's Paul Dikov has been asked for his comments on the spitting allegation with Manchester City's David Sommeil.

Sommeil, 31, was reported to have spat in Rovers striker Dickov's face in the 2-0 defeat at Ewood Park. Hoiwever their is no vidoe evidence to support this accusation.

An FA spokesman confirmed: 'We have written to him asking for a response on what happened.'

It is the second incident the F.A is investigating involving the French defender after Sommeil claimed that Arsenal striker Robin van Persie made a racist remark during City's 3-1 home defeat to the Gunners.

I dont see why players spit! It should be a 5 match ban or something if you're caught doing it!
