Just a quick message from the staff side of things here at Vital Blackburn to say a huge Happy New Year and a belter of a 2010 for all connected with Vital Blackburn.

2009 has been an epic year with membership numbers still on the increase and plenty of banter going on the site.

Winners and Losers, Getting to Know, The Sas match reports, the Bom transfer update special, matchday forums, What If and many more features have made Vital Blackburn the most versatile and fun Blackburn Rovers site there is.

But it wouldn't be what it is today without you - the VBers and members, you really are a crazy gang (think Wimbledon, the 80's etc etc)!

So from Walker, Bom Bom, Sasman and myself - have a cracking New Year and lets make 2010 even better than 2009 was.

The draw for the third round of the FA Cup took place earlier this evening.

Another Newcastle defeat opened the Brighton but Albion could only draw so closed to within a point of the leaders. Cardiff, Wigan and rock bottom Rotherham make up the bottom three.

A Danny Graham penalty ensured Blackburn claimed a share of the points against promotion-chasing Huddersfield with Rovers making it three unbeaten after this draw at Ewood Park.
