Di Santo eligible for FA Cup and Carling Cup

Blackburn Rovers have today confirmed that Franco Di Santo is now eligible for FA Cup and Carling Cup duty.

Under the initial terms of his loan, Chelsea didn't want the on-loan Rover to play in the cup competitions - cup tying the youngster.

But since he is now on loan for the whole season, Franco can now play in both cup competitions.

He better like Aston Villa because he will be seeing a lot of them in January...

The stage is set - Di Santo, Kallanic, McCarthy and Roberts MBE find the net and earn Rovers a place at Wembley? (Not to mention the 4th round of the FA cup) What a way to start the New Year! (Oh and let's torpedo City's over inflated ego along the way!) It's about time Rovers dreams came true!

to be fair hes right. Di Sanctio is a good player, but I don't know if I'd play him in a crucial cup game.

Just save him for the Burnley return tie, guaranteed a goal arent we?

sasman
