Rovers Youngster Joins Accrington

Rovers Youngster Joins Accrington

Blackburn Rovers defender Johnny Flynn has joined Accrington Stanley on loan until January.

The Northern Ireland Under-21 has gone the way that many young Rovers have over the years and moved down the road a little to Accrington where the defender will gain some valuable first-team experience.

Flynn can't make his debut for the League Two side on Saturday against Barnet in the FA Cup as he's cup-tied having already played for Chester City earlier this season during a loan spell with the non-league side, however, Flynn's debut should come on Tuesday evening when Stanley face Burton Albion.
