McDonald: Dominate All You Want But You Need Goals

Blackburn Rovers assistant manager Neil McDonald discusses his thoughts on our 3-0 defeat at Fulham on Wednesday with Sky Sports.

McDonald (and the players) couldn't believe how Rovers went in at half time 1-0 down but he knows that if you don't take your chances (Franco Di Santo had a chance very early) you can get punished and that happened to us. However, he was disappointed with the defending for the goals as they should've been defended better. You are able to watch and listen to what McDonald thought here:

We had plenty of chances in that first half but did nothing with them! When you play a team as good as Fulham that is criminal and we got what we deserved in the end...

reminded me of the man city match now everyone listen to me here. Di santo has to be dropped 1 goal in 7 appearances isnt good for a striker and that goal was handed to him. even dunn i thought was very poor

aadil has a point.Di Santo might be having a terrific work rate, but strikers are there to score goals.1 in 7 is a poor return even though he has contributed to many a goal.Either the manager should ask him to shoot and take chances more,or he should be dropped for 1 or 2 games. He has the potential, but he's just not taking his chances.Di Santo, find you scoring boots fast lad,if you have any hope of playing Chelsea :|

I think to be fair... you can only have one striker who is the link player not two. Roberts or Di Santo and McCarthy or Kalinic would be the way forward I think! Good point aadil mate...
Mikey Delap
We already have a striker who works his arse off and does everything but put the ball in the back of the net. His name is Roberts- the difference is, he has a future at Blackburn...
