Rovers Reject Derby's Fielding Approach

Rovers Reject Derby's Fielding Approach

Blackburn Rovers have rejected and offer from Derby County for goalkeeper Frank Fielding.

Derby tried to sign the England Under-21 International last summer but Rovers rejected an approach as they have again now that Derby manager Nigel Clough tried to take the 21-year-old to Pride Park on loan to act as cover for Stephen Bywater.

Fielding is a goalkeeper that I personally believe has a superb future in the game, however, the longer he is languishing as our third or even fourth choice goalkeeper the more I feel that we're going to eventually lose him!!
