Allardyce's better half confiscates his phone!

Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce will have his phone confiscated by his wife Lynn so he cannot make contact with Neil McDonald during tonights game at Fulham.

Allardyce is due to undergo heart surgery on Friday, but Big Sam expects to be back to work by Wednesday next week.

Lynn Allardyce will be using the same measures she used during the last game at the Reebok on Sunday.

McDonald, speaking to Sky Sports said - 'I won't have a hotline to Sam if it's anything to do with his wife, She confiscated his phone on Sunday and will probably do it again.

'I will probably speak to him before the game and afterwards. We will pick the team together before the game and then speak once it's all over.'

You gotta laugh at this. Surely Sam has a secret second mobile on pay as you go like any self respecting man would?!

This better not give my missus any ideas!

This may sound strange - but why hasn't Sam already had his surgery? They know what he needs, I'm sure he'd go private, why is he still waiting?
